Jennifer Carter Malphrus serves as the Director of the Center for STEM+eXcellence, a role in which she oversees initiatives like SpaceTrek—a hands-on, residential summer program in space systems engineering designed to empower female students.
Before stepping into this leadership position, Jennifer was the Assistant Director of the Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics, where she also ran the mentorship program, the Maker Space, and student research initiatives—helping high school students earn dual-enrollment credits and build real-world STEM skills.
