Odd Numbers
Listen to 90.3FM for special broadcast days/times

Despite the name, “Odd Numbers” isn’t a documentary about mathematics. Instead, and to the delight of those who are math challenged, “Odd Numbers” is a novelty music program filed with odd songs and comedy bits. Hosted by Doug Chatham, each hour-long program presents a wide range of funny and eccentric music from a cross selection of genres including country, pop, rock and tunes too weird for any category. The program features well-known entertainers including “Weird Al” Yankovic, Monty Python, Spike Jones and many more.

Doug Chatham is originally from Taylorsville, North Carolina. Doug is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Morehead State University with a Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. A member of the MSU faculty since 2001, Doug is also past chair of the MSU Faculty Senate. For Doug, “Odd Numbers” is the latest in a long string of eccentric, extracurricular activities which include writing satirical newspaper columns, inventing variations on the game of chess and mastering his knowledge of the English language in community spell-a-thons. Doug is a fan of spoken, written and musical comedy and has a steadily-growing collection of novelty music.
