St. Claire HealthCare Raises Awareness for the St. Claire Oncology Fund

St. Claire HealthCare Went Pink, Raising Awareness and Nearly $5,000 for the St. Claire Oncology Fund

St. Claire HealthCare would like to thank the more than 200 women who attended the annual Go Pink breast cancer awareness event on Friday, Oct. 26, making this year’s event the biggest to date.

We are honored to host this event each year at St. Claire Family Medical Supply, and provide free health education and screenings for the women in our service region.

To further promote breast cancer awareness, St. Claire staff purchased more than 500 “Go Pink” T-shirts, which raised nearly $5,000 for the St. Claire Oncology Fund. These funds allow us to provide financial assistance to our oncology patients in need.

“The St. Claire Oncology Fund helps make life easier for the patients in our care,” says Chelle Gilliam, Oncology Data Specialist. “This money is used to help provide gas and food cards, subsidize medication, as well as providing lymphedema sleeves and more.”

If you are interested in making a contribution to the St. Claire Oncology Fund or learning about more giving opportunities through the St. Claire Foundation, visit http://www.st-claire.org/give
