One of Kentucky's most respected historians, Dr. John Kleber is a professor emeritus of history and former dean of the Caudill College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences at Morehead State University, where he influenced generations of students and faculty.
He served as Kentucky's Historian Laureate and is perhaps best known as the editor of two monumental works—The Kentucky Encyclopedia and The Encyclopedia of Louisville.
He’s also taking part in MSU’s America 250 celebration and the McBrayer Presidential Lecture Series for a presentation appropriately titled "Kentucky 250."
