Morehead State Rifle continues to be one of the top academic programs in the conference and in the nation as the Eagles once again earned the Ohio Valley Conference Team Academic Award.
The program earned its 10th consecutive and 12th overall award since 2004-05. Last season's honor marked the most (11) by any team in any sport in the award's history, bolstering the fact the Eagles added a 10th straight for 2025-26.
The OVC Team Academic Achievement Awards, which are presented annually in each conference-sponsored sport to the member institution's team with the greatest percentage of its eligible student-athletes who achieved a 3.25 grade point average or higher, were awarded in 18 sports.
Seven of the eight rostered members of the team, in 2025-26, landed on the Commissioner's Honor Roll with the 3.25 or higher GPAs. That included Adrianna Bell, Hayden Bell, Hannah Goin, Cooper Gray, George Kuhne, Trey Myers and Chloe Shannon.
