Western Kentucky Toy Drive

Untitled.jpg

Those looking to bring some holiday cheer to tornado victims in Western Kentucky can do so by donating to a toy drive announced by First Lady Britainy Beshear Monday.

Beshear is looking for donations of new and unopened toys, books, gift cards or anything else a child might enjoy through the end of the week.  There are several drop-off locations throughout the Commonwealth, with Kentucky State Police Posts being among them.

Trooper Scott Ferrell is the Public Affairs Officer at Post 8 in Morehead.

Ferrell adds donations can be dropped off at Posts 24 hours a day.

People can also order gifts online for the drive, they just need to change the delivery location to Broadbent Arena in Louisville.  That address is 937 Phillips Lane, Louisville, KY 40209.  No clothes are needed at this time.

Tanner Boyd (Class of 2016) has been named assistant news director at Morehead State Public Radio (MSPR), 90.3 FM, WMKY.
