- Senior setter Bridget Bessler eclipsed the 3,500 career assists mark this past week, now with 3,598 career helpers. She is now in sole possession of third place in career assists at Morehead State. Bessler also had a team-high 13 digs at Tech and now has three consecutive double-double matches and seven double-doubles this year. She has 31 career assist-dig double-doubles.
- Bessler has been First-Team All-OVC three consecutive seasons. If she were to make the first-team again this fall, she would be just the third player in program history to be a four-time First-Team All-Conference player for the Eagles and the first setter to do so. The others were Olivia Lohmeier (2018-21) and Dayle Hamontree Harms (1987-90).
- Sophomore right-side Maycie Welborn has strung together three straight double-digit kill stat sheets. Moving into the starting lineup midway through her freshman year in 2021, Welborn has 300+ plus career kills.
- Middle blocker Irene Wogenstahl has eight consecutive matches with at least 2 or more blocks. Included in that was an eight-block effort at Tennessee Tech Wednesday and a season-high nine rejections against Lindenwood on Sept. 24. Se has 13 multiple-block matches in 2021.
- Abby Hulsman leads MSU and ranks eighth in the OVC with 2.94 kills per set. Hulsman has a streak of four consecutive double-digit kill performances. She has 781 career kills in 94 career matches.
