Morehead State junior Jesse Moreno has been selected as the Ohio Valley Conference Male Runner of the Week after his first-place performance last week at the Queen City Invitational in Ohio.
Moreno placed first among 240 runners in a field that included several Division I teams. His performance catapulted the men to a third place finish out of 20 teams. Moreno covered the 5K course in just 15:11:30. The MSU men recorded eight runners in the top 50.
Morehead State will travel to the Bluegrass Invitational in Lexington on Saturday, Sept. 13.
