Governor Scholar’s Program students practice journalism at MSU

This summer, students from across the state participated in the Governor's Scholars Program on the campus of Morehead State University. Under the guidance of Dr. Melony Shemberger, a group of them spent some of their time studying journalism and mass media. Part of that study included writing stories from MSU and the community. Students visited the studios of WMKY to record their pieces about GSP Alumni and events, downtown Morehead businesses, and more. Listen to their work below.
