Eagle Football To Host Women's Clinic

MSU Athletics

The Morehead State football program will host its second-annual Women's Clinic at Jayne Stadium on Friday, June 27. The event is $35 per person and open to individuals 18 and older.

Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. ET, with the event to follow at 5:30. Festivities will include a facility tour, offensive presentation, defensive presentation, equipment competition and several agility stations.

Attendees will receive instruction from Head Coach Rob Tenyer and his 2014 assistant coaches. The football portion is expected to wrap up around 7:30 p.m., with a social at Buffalo Wild Wings to follow.

"We had a really nice turnout for our first-ever clinic, and we anticipate an even larger crowd for this year's event," Tenyer said. "June 27 will be a terrific opportunity to interact with women in Eastern Kentucky who have an interest in the game our coaches know and love."

Morehead State football will donate a portion of its Women's Clinic earnings to the Remote Area Medical Clinic. RAM provides free medical, dental and vision services to individuals who are uninsured, underinsured, unemployed or cannot afford health coverage.

Women can reserve a spot by e-mailing Assistant Coach Dontae Wright (dl.wright@moreheadstate.edu). Cash or checks made out to Morehead State University will be accepted on the day of the event.

Morehead State is scheduled to play seven road games beginning Aug. 30 and five home contests starting Sept. 6. The Eagles will host in-state opponent Pikeville (Sept. 6), Campbell (Oct. 4), Jacksonville (Oct. 11), Valparaiso (Oct. 25) and new foe Stetson (Nov. 15).
