The field for the 2013 Ohio Valley Conference Soccer Championship has been set on the final day of the regular season. Morehead State is the No. 2 seed and will open on Friday (Nov. 8) at 8 p.m.
The Eagles have earned a bye, which is given to the top two seeds, and will face the winner of No. 3 Southeast Missouri and No. 6 Austin Peay. MSU is 3-2 against the tournament field, which includes a pair of victories against both potential semifinal opponents.
For the second straight year, UT Martin earned the top seed and the right to host the three-day event, which takes place Thursday, Friday and Sunday. SIU Edwardsville earned the No. 4 seed, while Eastern Illinois enters the tournament as the No. 5 seed.
