A state agency charged with improving environmental literacy in Kentucky is seeking input on a new, master plan for the Commonwealth when it holds a public forum tomorrow at Morehead State University. The Kentucky Environmental Education Council sets up shop at 5 p.m. in the Bert Combs Building.
Elizabeth Schmitz is executive director of the KEEC. She says the council is crafting a new, five-year plan…
Schmitz says her agency works within the Education & Workforce Development Cabinet. The council’s mission is to help Kentuckians develop the skills necessary to solve environmental problems and maintain a balance between the economy and the environment for future generations.
