Morgan County Bridge Closed For Repairs

Beginning on Monday, June 23, a bridge on KY 1000 near Caney in Morgan County will be closed for repairs.

The bridge, which crosses Caney Creek at milepoint 0.039 near the KY 191 intersection, will be shut down while new beams and a new deck are installed on the existing support structures. The project is expected to take approximately 30 days to complete.

During the closure period, drivers can use KY 1162 to access KY 191 north of Caney, or US 460 at the other end of KY 1000 at White Oak, as detour routes.
