Hosted and produced by Paul Hitchcock, "Nothin' But The Blues" originated in April 1992 as a one-hour program airing Friday nights at 11pm. The program evolved to two hours in 1994 moving to its current home on Saturday nights. In July 1998, the program expanded to three hours, airing live from 9pm to midnight. In December of 2000 the program expanded once again to 8pm to midnight.
From its beginnings in 1992, "Nothin' But The Blues" has remained focused on the best in current and classic blues in all styles including Delta, Piedmont, Chicago and Texas. "Nothin' But The Blues" utilizes over 3,000 CD's and LP's with requests always welcome.
In 1997, "Mojo the Blues Cat" was introduced as the musical inspiration of great blues and remains the offical mascot of "Nothin' But The Blues." T-shirts were designed which featured Mojo "playing guitar and singin' the blues."
In 2013, Hitchcock was presented the Achievement Award at the annual Colonel Bill Williams Heritage Music Festival in Greenup County (KY) for helping to preserve the blues music tradition.
