A Georgia man was arrested on Saturday when he allegedly came to Rowan County to meet a minor for sex.
Kentucky State Police charged 46-year-old Eric Elmore with five counts of distributing obscene matter to a minor, prohibited use of electronic communication to procure a minor, and conspiracy to commit rape.
Rowan County Superintendent John Maxey says his district conducts programs that help keep students safe.
Elmore is being held on a 50-thousand dollar bond. He will appear in court on December 4th.
