A District Judge was ordered to pay a $25 dollar fine and $130-dollar court costs after charges against him were amended.
Judge Willie Roberts was involved in a March 10th hit-and-run accident on Interstate-64. According to the criminal summons, Roberts is accused of leaving the scene of an accident after rear-ending a woman on the eastbound i-64 off-ramp in Morehead.
When he appeared before a judge on October 24th, Special Prosecutor Ryan Thomas recommended the charges be changed to failure to file an accident report.
Special Judge David Hagerman did not address the issue of restitution. After paying fees, Roberts returned to the bench.
