After a standout career as a member of the Morehead State women's golf program, former Eagle Anna Magnusson is creating a name for herself on the Swedish Golf Tour.

Competing in Sweden's top tour, the Taby, Sweden native has secured two victories across the seven events she's competed in on tour. Magnusson is the only player to win twice this season on a tour designed to help Swedish golfers develop their play to qualify for the Ladies European Tour.

Magnusson's first victory came at the Hinton Golf Open by Dygnet Runt Städ, held at Hinton Golf Club in Oxie, Sweden. During the two-day event, she fashioned scores of 69-71-73-213 to finish six-under, tying with Malene Krølbøll for the event lead. Magnusson secured her first Swedish Golf Tour victory, winning the first playoff hole.

She claimed victory again this past weekend, winning the Johannesberg Open at the Johannesberg Golf Club in Rimbo, Sweden. Magnusson carded scores of 69-68-70-207 to finish nine-under. Her win helped propel her up the Swedish Golf Tour rankings, where she currently sits third after seven events, having captured 82075.00 points.

In addition to competing on the Swedish Golf Tour, Magnusson also competes on the Ladies European Tour Access Series, the developmental tour of the Ladies European Tour. In LETAS competition, she has competed in three events across Europe, including stops in Switzerland, Finland, and Spain. Her best finish came at the Viaplay Ladies Finnish Open at Messila Golf in Lahti, Finland. Magnusson finished tied for 29th, marking down scores of 78-69-77-224. Her second round 69 marks her lowest round in LETAS competition.

Magnusson and the Swedish Golf Tour return to action on Aug. 1-2 at the Säljfast Ladies' PGA Championship. The two-day, 54-hole event will be held at the Sölvesborgs Golf Club in Sölvesborgs, Sweden.
