KET to air memorial service for late Kentucky governor Julian M. Carroll

KET will air the memorial service for former Kentucky governor Julian M. Carroll on Friday, December 15, beginning at 12:30 p.m. Kentucky’s 54th governor from 1974 to 1979, Carroll died on Sunday at age 92. The service in the state capitol rotunda is expected to include several speakers, including Governor Andy Beshear, Senate President Robert Stivers, former State Senator Ed Worley, former Lieutenant Governor and State Auditor Crit Luallen as well as members of Carroll’s family.
