The Morehead Utility Plant Board announced over the weekend that work to water main lines on Main Street is complete.
Officials said the water line project is expected to move into phase two this week, beginning on Second Street in downtown Morehead. In a post on Morehead’s City Government Facebook page, city officials said construction will take place in five different time zone sequences, and members of the community should be prepared for road closures from Knapp Avenue to Tippet Avenue while crews are working.
