A simple act can make a huge difference in the lives of others. That’s why St. Claire HealthCare (SCH) teams up with the Kentucky Blood Center (KBC) to host blood drives and save lives.
The last blood drive in January collected 33 pints of blood from 40 volunteers. This blood will be distributed to over 70 hospitals throughout Kentucky that are serviced by KBC.
The KBC has donor centers in Corbin, Frankfort, Lexington, Louisville, Somerset, and Pikeville. They also have multiple mobile units, like the ones that come to St. Claire, to allow donors to contribute more conveniently.
St. Claire HealthCare and the Kentucky Blood Center would like to thank all the donors that have helped throughout the years and the ones that continue to help now. With your generous donation, lives can be saved.
