Classes to begin Tuesday at MSU

Morehead State University

Classes at Morehead State University are slated to begin next week, but faculty and staff are already back on campus to prepare.

The community met Tuesday morning for the Spring semester convocation and heard from institutional leaders about programs and goals.

MSU President Dr. Jay Morgan hopes to increase recruitment and retention numbers for the spring, and find funding for faculty and staff raises.

Morehead State will be closed Monday, Jan. 16, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Administrative offices will be closed, and classes will not meet. However, the University will host a special event to commemorate Dr. King's legacy at 6 pm on the third floor of the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC). Spring classes begin on Tuesday.
