Morehead State Rifle topped visiting North Georgia on Saturday as the Eagles tied for the program's second-best Air Rifle score in history.
MSU scored a 4,658, including a 2,363 Air score, to best the Nighthawks who scored 4,636.
In Air Rifle, Grace Weber led all shooters with a 594. She also led all shooters in Smallbore with a 581 to set a personal-best aggregate with 1175. Bryce Ward fired a 591, while Adrianna Beard was just one behind at 590. Andrew Morris was at 588, while Cassidy Wilson rounded out the counters with a 583. Freshman Hayden Bell was not in the counters but did establish a career-best with a 590 in Air and a 577 in Smallbore for a personal-record 1167 aggregate.
In Smallbore, Ward led the lineup with a 576, while Morris fired a 575. Holly Freeman and Wilson came in with 572, and Danielle Vigil was at 571.
The Eagles are idle next weekend before hosting UT Martin for a pair of matches Nov. 5-6.
