For the second consecutive season, Morehead State women's golf has garnered multiple Ohio Valley Conference honors, as sophomores Olivia Hensley and MacKenzie Neal, alongside graduate student Bridget Connolly have all been named to the OVC All-Conference Team. Freshman Hanna Montgomery was also named to the OVC All-Newcomer Team, marking the fourth consecutive season the Eagles have had a player receive the honor.

Hensley and Neal become only the third and fourth golfers in program history to receive All-Conference honors in back-to-back seasons, joining Marisa Kamelgam and Anna Magnusson. This is the first such honor for Connolly. The trio led Morehead State in scoring average this season, and were instrumental in the team finishing with the second best scoring average in the conference.

MacKenzie Neal shot the lowest individual round of any Morehead State golfer this season, firing a 69 in the second round of the Edisto Island Invitational back in October. In addition to her stellar stroke play, Neal also went a perfect 4-0 at the Mid-American Match Play Challenge.

Olivia Hensley had the third best scoring average in the conference at 75.8 strokes per round and posted four top-20 finishes throughout the season. Bridget Connolly recorded her first career medalist honor at the Battle at Boone Trace in August and led the team to a top-5 finish at the WKU Spring Break Shootout in March.

Hanna Montgomery had a pair of top-15 finishes in her first collegiate season and added three wins in match play to help lead the Eagles to a fifth place finish in their sole non-stroke play event of the season.

The awards cap off a season of honors for Morehead State's women's golf program, who pulled in five total OVC Golfer of the Week awards. The foursome now look to capture the OVC title when they tee off Sunday in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
