Morehead State University will host the 2013 Ohio Valley Conference volleyball championship tournament at Wetherby Gym, Nov. 21-23.
The tournament begins Thursday with quarterfinal matches and continues on Friday with the semifinals. The championship match is set for Saturday.
In Thursday's first round matches, t third-seeded Eastern Illinois plays sxith-seeded Eastern Kentucky at 11 a.m. while second-seeded Belmont takes on seventh-seeded SIUE at 1:30 p.m. At 4:30 p.m., fourth-seeded Southeast Missouri State battles fifth-seeded Austin Peay and at 7 p.m., top-seed Morehead State faces eight-seeded Tennessee State.
The semifinal round will be held Friday at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The championship match will be played Saturday at 7 p.m. The winner receives the league's automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament field of 64.
Tickets for each session of the tournament are $5, and students at any participating school can receive free admission with a valid student ID.
The parking lot in front of the Space Science Center will be used for tournament parking.
