A documentary film about the nation's worst drunk driving incident is being integrated into classes for DUI offenders.

"Impact: After the Crash" tells the story of the 1988 Carrolton bus crash in which 27 people, many teenagers, were killed.  Jason Epperson of Winchester directed the film.

"Just kind of meeting and intimately learning about the families and the survivors and what they went through in this crash it was incredible.  It was a very worthy project, a project that I feel like I hang my hat on and something to be proud to be part of,” said Epperson.

Epperson and Harold Dennis, who survived the bus crash as a 14 year old, participated in a DUI training program at Eastern Kentucky University on Friday (April 25).  The documentary was shown to 150 administrators who direct programs for people convicted of driving under the influence.
