Ashland Man Not Guilty

The Daily Independent

An Ashland man has been found not guilty for the death of Kenneth Fulton, a Morehead man, at his home in 2017.

A Rowan County jury deliberated less than four hours on Monday, October 21 to acquit the 43 year old Randy Parmley. He was also found not guilty of Wanton endangerment.

Police said Parmley came to Morehead to confront his wife about why she was at Fulton's home.

Parmley's attorney, Sebastian Joy, says at the time of the shooting Parmley believed he was in imminent danger.

Joy also says Parmley is sorry for the loss of a life and that both him and his wife regret the events that led to Fulton's death.
