A man is in custody and law enforcement is working to neutralize explosives in Rodburn Hollow Park this afternoon.

46- year-old Buffy Literal was pulled over early this (Wednesday) afternoon for alleged reckless driving.

Morehead Police say a K-9 unit indicated that drugs were present in the vehicle, and explosive devices were found during the search.

Police quickly shut down the park and Rodburn Hollow Road, calling in the Kentucky State Police Bomb Squad for assistance.

According to Morehead PD Captain Erskin Davis, four pipe bombs have been removed from the vehicle, but those devices have not yet been disassembled.

Literal is currently charged with public Intoxication, third degree possession of a controlled substance, first degree possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a destructive device or booby trap.

Davis says though Literal has a history of drug-related charges, he does not have a history of violence. The investigation is ongoing.
