Morgan County Receives Emergency Road Aid

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet today announced that the Morgan County Fiscal Court will receive $78,000 in County Road Aid emergency funds. These funds will be used for slip or slide repairs on Fyffe Branch Road (CR 1051) and Griffy Branch Road (CR 1216).

“It is important that we help cities and counties fund emergency repairs to local roadways, because those routes are vital links in the state’s transportation network,” Transportation Secretary Mike Hancock said. “Solid transportation infrastructure is vital in Morgan County and across the Commonwealth.”

The Morgan County Fiscal Court is responsible for administering the work.
