The Rowan County Board of Education's Summer Feeding Program is underway for students in the district needing a meal.
The program is open to anyone up to age 18 and will run through June 25th. Glen Teager is the Finance Officer and Food Services Director for the Board. He says programs like these can go a long way for many students who typically rely on meals they receive throughout the school year.
Meal pick-up will take place at the new Viking Complex between the Rowan Middle and High Schools from 11:30am to 1:30pm Monday through Friday. No sign-up is necessary.
