Artisan Framewerks is presenting a new art exhibition at the Rowan County Courthouse. This is the 12th art rotation of the exhibit.
A reception for the new pieces will be held Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., during which time visitors will be able to meet the artists behind the works and eat food from Cattleman’s Roadhouse.
Stefan Hayes with Artisan Framewerks said the collection will include a range of art in several mediums.
“This rotation we have about 28 different artworks ranging from graphic design, several different logos, computer art. We have photography, we’ve just got a whole gamut. Oils, acrylics, Mike Adams, several different artists that are known to Morehead residents, and it's just a beautiful collection of work that we’re going to be exhibiting,” said Hayes.
According to Hayes, this is the first new art rotation in almost six months.
“We had to lengthen rotation eleven due to some supply chain shortages that were happening with some of the materials that we used to manufacture the frames. We actually should be on rotation thirteen at this point,” said Hayes
Hayes said despite the delay, the wait for this collection was worth it. The new rotation can be viewed anytime the courthouse is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
