Morehead State Public Radio (WMKY, 90.3FM) staff and students took home a total of nine awards in the 2024 Kentucky Broadcasters Association (KBA) Excellence in Broadcasting Awards. The awards recognize the best in television and radio journalism for the calendar year of 2023.
The Excellence in Broadcasting Awards were presented on Monday, September 30th at Central Bank Center in Lexington, as part of KBA's Annual Membership Conference. The awards were announced for both professional and college entries. The professional competition is open to all KBA members in Kentucky and outside Kentucky with designated market areas that extend into Kentucky.
