MSPR Announces New Board Member

Morehead State Public Radio (MSPR) announces a new member to its Community Advisory Board (CAB). Joining the volunteer board is Hallie Adams from Flemingsburg.

Other current CAB members include Jeremy Boone, Dr. Doug Chatham, Dr. Mike Dobranski, Dr. Janelle Hare, Courtney Howell, Dan Mason, Nellie Middleton, and April Nutter.

Adams is a sophomore at Morehead State University majoring in convergent media and minoring in photography. She is a news reporter and audio engineer at MSPR. Adams is also active with The Trail Blazer and MSU TV's News Center.

A Fleming County native, Adams lives on her family farm with her parents and brother.

“I love to work with my small herd of cattle,” said Adams. “I am the owner of four Scottish Highland Cows, as well as two short-horn cows. I look forward to serving on MSPR’s Community Advisory Board.”

CAB meetings are held quarterly at MSPR’s studios and are open to the public. The next meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022.

“Hallie (Adams) is dedicated in pursuing a career in broadcasting,” commented Paul Hitchcock, MSPR general manager. “She brings enthusiasm and commitment as the CAB’s first-ever student member of the board.”

Serving more than 20 counties throughout Eastern Kentucky, Morehead State Public Radio (WMKY) broadcasts 24 hours a day at 90.3FM from the campus of Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky.
