MSU Earns Three Educational Advertising Awards
Morehead State University's Office of Communications & Marketing has won three awards for digital marketing at the 37th Annual Educational Advertising Awards.
Communications and Marketing received a Silver Award in Social Media Content for the @moreheadstate Instagram account and two Merit Awards, one for Digital Video Ad-Less Than 2 Minutes for the "Hike Eagle Lake" video and one for Student Viewbook for the 2021-22 MSU Viewbook (a publication given to prospective students highlighting the University’s programs, scholarships and facilities).
The Educational Advertising Awards submissions are judged against nationwide programs and marketing campaigns by a national panel of industry specialists who scored them based on message impact, creativity and marketing execution. This year, the EAA received over 2,000 entries from over a thousand colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries.
"We have an abundance of talent on our campus,” said Rick Hesterberg, vice president of university advancement. “And I am elated that our Communications & Marketing team is being recognized for their creative energy and all of their efforts for effectively promoting our University and distinguishing what makes Morehead State so special.”
