St. Claire HealthCare’s (SCH) new Urgent Care Center is now open and offering a new level of care for the Morehead area.
SCH invited the community and staff members to celebrate the new service with a Grand Opening event and ribbon-cutting on Thursday, March 17. Guests had the opportunity to meet with Urgent Care providers and staff to learn about what the new service has to offer.
“We appreciate the support the community has shown to St. Claire and the continued growth within the ministry,” said Mark Rhodes, Executive Director of the St. Claire Medical Group. “When we began the project of bringing an urgent care to our area, we had one thing in mind … you. Everything we do is for the benefit of the people in our community.”
St. Claire HealthCare Urgent Care will be temporarily located at the SCH Outpatient Center at 1028 E. Main St., (just off US 60 East) while a new state-of-the-art facility is being built. The future home of the Urgent Care Center will be located between Cracker Barrel and the new Starbucks at I-64 and KY 32.
Care for common illnesses and moderate injuries, as well as wellness physicals, is available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 8 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM, and Sunday from Noon to 4 PM.
“Illnesses and injuries aren’t going to wait for normal business hours to happen. People need access to care any time. We realize that and want to be available for you and your family,” said Rhodes. “The services Urgent Care offers focus on quality and convenience with availability seven days a week.” To learn more about Urgent Care, visit www.st-claire.org/UrgentCare.
