The American Red Cross Kentucky Region is looking for volunteers to help with disaster relief.
Over the next few weeks, the organization will host a series of disaster relief training classes.
The course, entitled “Heroes Needed”, is designed for beginners with no previous Red Cross disaster training, offering skills for ones that wish to become a disaster responder or assist in disaster relief.
Lori Medley is the Regional Officer for the Louisville Chapter. She says volunteers can also help out in the local region.
