Beshear and Kasich Debate Affordable Care Act

The governors of Kentucky and Ohio debated the merits of the Affordable Care Act Sunday on NBC’s Meet the Press, with Democrat Steve Beshear urging patience with the law and Republican John Kasich saying it’s fundamentally flawed.

Beshear concedes the October 1st rollout of the federal health insurance exchange website has not gone well. However, he says Kentucky’s own exchange is enrolling people in the expanded Medicaid program or getting them signed up for one of the insurance plans being offered in the Commonwealth…
