Lewis County Creek Study

Kentucky’s Energy and Environment Cabinet is holding a public meeting in Vanceburg August 26th to talk about a study into erosion along Kinniconick Creek. It begins at 6 p.m. in the fire house on Indian Road.

Brian Frazier is a spokesman for the cabinet. He says grants totaling nearly $600,000 have been secured to determine what’s causing degradation and increased sedimentation in the creek…

Frazier says the study should take about a year to complete.
