Morehead State University’s president says the completion next year of a student intramural soccer field will fulfill a promise made to students in 2005. Doctor Wayne Andrews says that’s when a commitment was made to expand recreational areas for intramural sports.

The original plan for the new field called for natural turf but that was changed to an artificial surface because of drainage and soil conditions.
