Rowan County Public Library Update

Pack's Inc.

For the safety of our community and for RCPL staff, the Rowan County Public Library will be ceasing all in-person services and materials exchanges as of March 20.

This closure will remain in effect indefinitely, based upon CDC and ALA recommendations. An announcement will be made when RCPL reopens to the public.

If you have items checked out, we encourage you to keep them safe until we reopen. Remember that we are fine-free, and no late penalties will be assessed against patrons who keep items until we resume operations.

In the meantime, please be sure to make use of our digital borrowing and distance learning services, available through our website at http://www.rowancountylibrary.org/digital-resources and via the OverDrive, Libby, Hoopla, Zinio, and other apps.

If you have questions about these services, please don't hesitate to contact us through social media or at email@rowancountylibrary.org for more information.

Stay safe, practice sensible social distancing, be kind to one another, and remember that your Rowan County Public Library is still here for you during this trying time, as much as possible.
