A ground-breaking ceremony will take place in Morehead on Wednesday (Dec. 17), celebrating the initiative to construct a food bank warehouse that will serve eleven surrounding counties.
The project is funded by God’s Pantry Food Bank, whose new Morehead location will become the organization’s fourth distribution center in a fifty county service region throughout central and eastern Kentucky.
God’s Pantry serves over 200-thousand people in central and eastern Kentucky.
The ground-breaking for the Morehead Regional Distribution Center of God’s Pantry Food Bank will take place at the MMRC regional business park on KY 801 at 3:00pm.
