Morehead Theatre Guild to hold auditions

The Morehead Theatre Guild will be holding auditions for its next two productions, 110 Stories and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, July 12, 13 and 14, at the Rowan County Arts Center at 6pm, in the second floor auditorium.

110 Stories captures the grief and resilience in the wake of the Sept. 11th attacks through those who experienced it.  This production will require a minimum of 5 females and 5 males with characters in their 20s and older. The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is an adaptation of the Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic gothic science fiction novella, which has parts for 3 females and 5 males. Paul Hitchcock earned his Masters in Communications from Morehead State University and Bachelors in Radio-TV/Psychology from Georgetown College. A veteran broadcaster for more than 40 years and an avid fan of blues, jazz and American roots music. Hitchcock has been with WMKY since 1986 and was named General Manager in 2003. He currently hosts "Muddy Bottom Blues" (Fri., 8pm-9pm), "Nothin' But The Blues" (Sat., 8pm-12am), "Sunday Night Jazz Showcase" and "Live From The Jazz Lounge" (Sun., 8pm-9pm) and "The Golden Age of Radio" (Sun., 2pm-3pm). He also serves as producer for "A Time For Tales" and "The Reader's Notebook."
