Morehead Market Returns July 10

Rowan County Arts Center

The 2021 Morehead Market will be the second Saturday of July thru September from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m, on the Rowan County Arts Center Lawn.

This event is weather permitting.

Established in 2015, the event features handmade or locally produced items from Rowan and surrounding counties. Items to be sold can include food, produce, soap, candles, jewelry, art ceramics, crafts, plants, etc.

The fee is $15 for a 12'x12' space or $20 for a 12'x12' space with electric (limited availability reserve ahead of time). Tents can be no larger than 10'x10'. Exhibitors must bring a tent (optional), tables, chairs, etc. to accommodate booth display. Supplies are not available through the center. Exhibitors are responsible for all garbage pickup around their booth space, proper permitting thru the city and county and all sales taxes.

Setup begins at 8:30 a.m. and must be completed by 10:45 a.m. with all vehicles moved from the exhibiting area. Parking is available in the lot beside the Arts Center or along Main Street. We ask that vendors do not start tearing down before 3 p.m.

Booth spaces are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Booths may be reserved in advance with payment by contacting the Rowan County Arts Center at 606.783.9857 (opt. #3) or by emailing rcac@moreheadtourism.com.
