Rowan County Public Library to host a Holiday Drive-Thru

Rowan County Public Library

The Rowan County Public Library invites the community for safe holiday fun on December 19th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Families will visit the library drive-thru window for a special goody bag with a free book, treats, and a craft for ages 12 and under. Attendees may also enjoy a holiday light display, plus listen on the radio to hear the story of “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.”

The event is themed to be a sit-in-your-car event. Attendees will stay in their car and drive around the Rowan County Public Library to get a free children's book, craft kit, and goody bag.

“Patrons can also tune into the radio to hear a popular Christmas story,” said Dawn Sargent, Community Relations Coordinator. “Santa will be inside the Library waving at the window to people driving around, and more. We hope to see you and your families there.”
