parks.ky.gov

White Hall State Historic Site will present the 23rd  theatrical production of “Ghost Walk, Ghosts & Goodbyes,” featuring the Eastern Kentucky University Theatre Department and alumni cast members from past productions starting Oct. 20.

This long-running show is a must-see for history and theater buffs alike.  Each year the mansion, the Clay family and others relive a snippet of their lives for an informative and entertaining live production.

Guests are invited to visit one last time to say good-bye to this production and to its writer and director Jeffrey Boord-Dill, who will be retiring.

The program will be offered Oct. 20, 21, 22, 28, and 29.  Show times vary from 7-9:30 p.m. Light refreshments are served at the end.

Tickets are $10 per person. Reservations are required; call 859-623-9178.

Nestled in rolling farmland, White Hall was built in the late 1700s, with a major addition constructed in the 1860s. The mansion, built in Georgian and Italianate styles, boasts nearly 10,000 square feet, with modern innovations of the time such as central heating and indoor plumbing.

White Hall State Historic Site is located in Richmond, off Interstate 75 exit 95.
