Speedway Children’s Charities to Host 5th Ann. Clay Shoot, NRA Fdn. Returns as Presenting Sponsor

Kentucky Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities

The Kentucky Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC) will host its 5th Annual Pulling for Kids Charity Clay Shoot presented by The NRA Foundation on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. The event will once again be held at Elk Creek Hunt Club in Owenton, Kentucky, a world-class sporting clays facility.

“The NRA Foundation has shown great support to SCC by committing to be the Presenting Sponsor every year we’ve hosted our charity clay shoot,” says Kentucky Chapter Director Dayna Winslette. “They believe in our mission and vision for helping children in our local community and dedicate funding to support these efforts year after year. Their one contribution allows us to fund multiple grants to non-profit children’s organizations in our own backyard. We couldn’t ask for a better partner in this endeavor.”

Teams and sponsorships for this event are available only through pre-registration with SCC and are first-come, first-served. Because this event is for a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, contributions over the Fair Market Value of each item with a retail value are tax-deductible.

Businesses may purchase a team of four participants for $1,500 on or before the Early Bird Deadline of Friday, June 2. The price increases to $1,750 thereafter, with a Final Deadline of Friday, June 16.

Businesses may also upgrade and become a sponsor of this event, adding assets to their experience to show further support for SCC. Sponsorship levels range from $2,000 to $7,500, include at least one team of four and feature sponsorship level exclusivity. A complete list of assets for each can be obtained by contacting SCC directly.

The event provides one-on-one interaction with other local business representatives, entertainment by a professional trick shooter and the opportunity to shoot alongside NASCAR drivers and other celebrities in attendance. Team registration includes golf cart and gun rentals, ear and eye protection, ammunition, sporting clays, meal and participant gift bag.

Monetary donations towards this event, without purchasing a sponsorship or team, are also being accepted until Friday, August 4.
