moreheadwritingproject.org

Carter Caves State Resort Park will host a dinner theater entitled “The Ghost of Windsor Manor” Nov. 4-5, 2016.

The performing group Murder and Merriment, who had their debut performance at Carter Caves this past Valentine’s Weekend, return to perform another interactive and entertaining murder mystery performance.

“The Ghost of Windsor Manor” is about an eccentric spinster aunt who calls together members of her family to inform them that her young nephew was discovered dead hanging from the balcony railing that morning. A note was pinned to his body warning the family to leave the manor at once! Apparently the Ghost of Windsor Manor has returned to wreak havoc on the family!

Guests will enjoy a buffet-style meal and then become sleuths as they collect clues to find out who committed the murder.

The cost for the dinner and show is $34.95 (plus tax) per person and $24.95 per child 12 years  and under.  The park is also offering a package that includes the dinner, show and an overnight stay in Lewis Caveland Lodge for just $131.95 (plus tax) for two people.

Seating starts at 6:45 p.m. for each performance. Call 1-800-325-0059 for reservations and information.

Carter Caves State Resort Park features a lodge and vacation cottages. The lodge restaurant offers a variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. There’s also hiking, camping, horse camping, golf, mini-golf, fishing, horseback riding, gem mining and cave tours. The park in northeastern Kentucky is four miles off Interstate 64 between Grayson and Olive Hill (Exit 161).
