Fleming-Mason Energy customers are being asked to be wary of phone calls about past due bills.
Joni Hazelrigg with Fleming-Mason Energy says a man has been contacting customers about past due electric bills. the caller will tell customers they have a past due balance and someone will be at their house within the hour to collect the money or their electric service will be shut off.

According to Hazelrigg, Kentucky State Police have already received complaints about the issue and are looking into it along with the Attorney General’s office.
