The Morehead State women's basketball team out ran the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs to the tune of an 84-69 victory on Sunday afternoon at Paul Porter Arena.
Junior guard Aliyah Jeune scored a game-high 28 points and senior guard Miranda Crockett poured in 24 of her own as the Eagles improved their record to 2-0 after opening the season with two road games.
The Eagles will return home this Friday for the opening game of the Vinewood Farm Classic against Valparaiso at 6:35 p.m. ET. The game will be the first of three games over the weekend in the tournament, and the first of a five-game homestand for Morehead State.
