Morehead State senior Angelo Warner and junior Brent Arrington have been tabbed by College Sports Madness as Preseason All-Ohio Valley Conference selections. Warner is a first-team honoree, while Arrington is a fourth-team choice.

Warner, a native of Orlando, is already 23rd on MSU's all-time scoring list with 1,133 points in 98 career games. He ranked sixth in the conference last season with a team-best 17.5 points per game and reached double figures in scoring on 31 occasions.

The 6-foot-2 guard, who averaged 34.8 minutes in 2013-14, recorded 4.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per contest as a junior. He knocked down 45 percent from the field, 33 percent from three-point distance and 82 percent from the free-throw line.

Arrington, a native of Baltimore, enters his fourth season with Head Coach Sean Woods, third season at Morehead State and second year in an Eagle uniform. He played at Division I member Mississippi Valley State in 2011-12 and sat out as a transfer in 2012-13.

The 6-foot-3 guard, who averaged 27.9 minutes in 2013-14, tallied 11.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.9 steals per tilt as a redshirt sophomore. He drilled 42 percent from the floor, 33 percent from long range and 74 percent from the foul line.

Morehead State is coming off a 20-win campaign for the fourth time in the past six years. The 2013-14 Eagles also earned a spot in the College Basketball Invitational, which marked the program's fourth postseason berth in six seasons and ninth in school history.

Morehead State will host St. Catharine (Ky.) on Nov. 5 in its only exhibition game this season. The Eagles open regular-season action on Nov. 14 at Mountain West Conference foe UNLV. MSU will entertain 13 regular-season opponents at Johnson Arena in 2014-15.
