Officials in Rowan County are working to get a better understanding of the current housing market in the area.
The Morehead-Rowan County Chamber of Commerce will be overseeing a study over the next several months to analyze current costs and trends within the market as it pertains to projected growth for the area.
Chamber President and C.E.O. Jason Slone discussed the study during the regular April meeting of Morehead City Council Monday night.
